Derbyshire Police has issued a public appeal for assistance in locating a missing mother, Aminat, who has reportedly disappeared with her six-week-old infant. Authorities have expressed serious concern for their well-being and are urgently conducting a search in the Derby area. The mother was last observed on Cardigan Street in the Chaddesden locality at approximately 4 pm the previous day.
Aminat, described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, has been reported to be wearing a knee-length brown hijab and is believed to have taken her baby along in a pushchair. In an effort to expedite the search, Derbyshire Police has released a CCTV image capturing Aminat pushing the buggy along a street. Citizens are urged to contact emergency services at 999 immediately if they spot her or have any information regarding her whereabouts.

A spokesperson for the police emphasized, “Anyone who has seen Aminat is asked to ring us on 999 with reference 913-201223.” The prompt cooperation of the public is essential in ensuring the safe return of the missing mother and her newborn.
