A survey conducted by the American Research Group from December 17-20 revealed that only 37% of respondents approved of Biden’s job performance, while a notable 57% expressed disapproval.
Comparing Biden’s popularity with past incumbents at similar points in their presidencies shows a less favorable standing. Biden trails behind the approval ratings of predecessors such as Donald Trump, George H.W. Bush, Jimmy Carter, and Gerald Ford. On the 1,074th day of Trump’s presidency, he held a 42.5% approval rating, whereas Biden’s currently rests at 39.3%.
