Johnson, who insists that everyone present that day was part of a setup, lacks solid evidence but remains adamant that the charges against Trump are baseless.
Trump faces charges related to his alleged role in overturning the 2020 election, vehemently denying them as political persecution. Johnson, formerly on X (formerly Twitter), accuses Former Assistant Chief Yogananda Pittman of withholding intelligence during the Capitol riot, hindering security efforts.
Despite skepticism from a former colleague and questions about his credibility, Johnson alleges Pittman ignored his calls for help on January 6. Johnson contends Pittman’s actions aimed at pleasing Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and aspiring to lead the Capitol Police.
Pittman, who left the USCP in 2022, and the USCP declined to comment on Johnson’s claims. Johnson’s past suspension and departure from the USCP, coupled with his MAGA hat on January 6, raise questions about his involvement.
