Bombshell revelation, Judge Cannon has exposed damning evidence shedding light on how a close aide to former President Trump betrayed him to Special Counsel Jack Smith. The newly unsealed document, posted by media personality Julie Kelly on Sunday, May 12, 2024, unveils a shocking turn of events implicating a lawyer with an attorney-client privilege relationship with President Trump.

The document reveals that the lawyer proposed to act as an undercover informant in Special Counsel Jack Smith’s case involving classified documents, shedding light on the intricate web of deceit surrounding Trump’s inner circle.

Walt Nauta, a former White House employee and Navy veteran indicted alongside Trump last year, was at the center of the controversy. The motion filed in connection with search warrants against Nauta sheds light on the extent of the betrayal within Trump’s inner circle.

According to the motion, a lawyer representing Trump was approached to serve as an undercover informant/source in Smith’s case. Shockingly, the document exposes that crucial information about individuals acting as political adversaries of President Trump, including one attorney with an attorney-client privilege relationship with Trump, was concealed.

This attorney not only breached that privilege but also proposed to assume an undercover role in parallel with Smith’s investigation, raising serious ethical and legal concerns.

The defense motion vehemently argues against the use of information acquired through improper means by the Special Counsel’s Office (SCO) to justify search warrants or as evidence against a third party, casting doubt on the integrity of the investigation.

In response to these disturbing revelations, Judge Cannon took decisive action by indefinitely postponing Jack Smith’s trial against Trump. Acknowledging the gravity of the situation and the admitted tampering with evidence by the Special Counsel, Judge Cannon established new pre-trial deadlines to navigate the legal complexities and ensure a fair trial.

The unsealed document serves as a damning indictment of the lengths individuals within Trump’s inner circle were willing to go to subvert justice, highlighting the risks of unchecked power and erosion of ethical boundaries in pursuit of political agendas.

As the legal saga unfolds, it raises troubling questions about the integrity of the justice system and underscores the need for robust safeguards to uphold the rule of law in the face of political interference and abuse of power.
