Eminem, renowned for his scathing diss tracks, has a history of setting the rap world ablaze with his lyrical prowess – so much so that Drake and Kendrick Lamar would pale in comparison had they crossed paths with him.

The rap icon, who rose to prominence through rap battles in his early days, engaged in a memorable clash with Ja Rule, long before his infamous feud with Machine Gun Kelly in 2018.

This rivalry with the “Always on Time” rapper seemed to stem from Eminem and Dr. Dre signing 50 Cent to their label, with Ja Rule harboring a history with 50 Cent. In response, Eminem fired back at Ja Rule through his music.

As any Eminem aficionado will attest, one of the most cherished individuals in his life is his daughter, Hailie Jade.

Over the weekend, Eminem was joined by 50 Cent and Dr. Dre as they celebrated Hailie’s wedding.

The close bond between Eminem and his daughter was evident as he shared a dance with her, prompting fans to reminisce about seeing her grow up over the years.

It was this strong paternal connection that led to Eminem’s “most brutal diss of all time,” crafted in response to a lyric about Hailie by Ja Rule.

In one of Ja Rule’s songs, he provocatively wrote, “Em, you claim your mother’s a crackhead and Kim is a known s*** / So what’s Hailie gonna be when she grows up?”

This lyric struck a nerve with Eminem, igniting his fury. He rallied his crew and retaliated with the merciless track ‘Hailie’s Revenge.’

Released in April 2003, ‘Hailie’s Revenge’ was exactly what its title suggested – a vengeful onslaught from Eminem aimed squarely at his rap rival.

The track opens with the question, “Hailie, what do you want to be when you grow up, baby?” before launching into a blistering attack on Ja Rule.

Eminem didn’t hold back, accusing Ja Rule of imitating Tupac Shakur’s style and criticizing his authenticity. He spared no punches, delivering a barrage of scathing lyrics aimed at his adversary.

Ranker.com ranks Eminem’s diss at Ja Rule as his most savage, with his ‘Killshot’ retort to Machine Gun Kelly closely following suit.

Eminem’s ability to craft razor-sharp lyrics and unleash them with precision has solidified his status as one of the greatest lyricists in hip-hop history.

LADbible reached out to Eminem’s representatives for comment on the matter.
