Jack Quaid is making his feelings clear about the nudity in the hit series The Boys. During a recent appearance at New York Comic Con for the Happy Sad Confused 10th Anniversary podcast, the 32-year-old actor expressed his desire for the show’s frequent nude scenes to come to an end.
“Oh, man, I kind of just want nudity to stop,” Quaid said, humorously acknowledging his significant screen time in the buff. “My butt’s had a lot of screen time and it’s not a great one, you know what I mean?”
Quaid, the son of actors Dennis Quaid and Meg Ryan, also discussed how his family reacts to his risqué scenes in the show. When asked if they watch The Boys, he candidly replied, “Yes, no … anything involved in my a–, I’ve just been like, ‘Can you just not watch?’” He further added, “I mean, season 3, don’t watch it. Like no one in my family should watch season 3. My butt’s all over that thing.”
In a previous interview with Glamour, Quaid shared that he has become “only slightly” more comfortable with nudity over the years. “It’s a weird thing because you’re just kind of naked in a room full of very clothed people,” he explained. “It was an adjustment period for sure. Toward the end, I got more comfortable with it. Everyone on set is just such a professional, so I trust everybody. I’ve spent three years with these people, and they’ve all become like my family, so it really wasn’t too uncomfortable.”
As The Boys continues to push boundaries with its bold storytelling and provocative scenes, Jack Quaid’s reflections highlight the personal challenges actors face while navigating their roles. With his recent comments, it seems he’s ready to close the chapter on the nudity in the series, focusing instead on the dynamic character development and thrilling plot twists that have captured fans’ attention.
