According to Tim Alberta in The Atlantic, it wasn’t the numerous pleas from Trump’s associates that prompted him to sever ties with Loomer. Similarly, it wasn’t her past comments, which include claims that 9/11 was an “inside job” and declarations of being a proud Islamophobe, that swayed him. Instead, the final straw appeared to be her physical appearance.
Sources close to the discussions revealed that Trump, who has a noted aversion to plastic surgery, was reportedly “disgusted” upon learning about Loomer’s multiple facial alterations. This revelation about her appearance seems to have played a significant role in Trump’s decision-making process, overshadowing her controversial rhetoric.
Loomer’s history of racially charged remarks has long been a point of contention. However, in this instance, it appears that her looks may have ultimately led to her being ousted from Trump’s campaign, despite her attempts to align herself with the former president.
