Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York, has expressed apprehension about the possibility of facing an extended prison sentence. These concerns have arisen in the wake of allegations made by Rep. Dan Goldman (D-NY) suggesting that Giuliani manipulated data retrieved from Hunter Biden’s laptop.
During Giuliani’s Sunday radio program, he adamantly claimed credit for bringing to light the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop, which reportedly belonged to President Joe Biden’s son, as reported by Raw Story on Sunday, December 3, 2023.
“Do you think I’m entitled to some credit for being the one who brought out Biden for the first time?” Giuliani questioned his longtime girlfriend and co-host, Maria Ryan.
“You deserve a lot of credit,” Ryan affirmed.
Frustration laced Giuliani’s tone as he declared, “They don’t. They think I deserve to go to prison for the rest of my life for doing it.”
Ryan posited that Giuliani was being targeted due to possessing highly credible information, leading to attempts to discredit him through concocted narratives.
Despite facing a lawsuit from Hunter Biden accusing him of hacking and manipulating the laptop’s contents, Giuliani asserted that he has been “vindicated.”
“I was accused by Biden during the last debate, presidential debate, by name, of being a Russian pawn,” Giuliani recalled. “It is proven that I’m not.”
He went on to criticize Dan Goldman, a Democratic Party member from New York, for once again labeling him a “Russian pawn” during a recent House Judiciary Committee hearing, where Goldman claimed there was evidence that Giuliani had “manipulated” the laptop’s hard drive.
“You have no idea, you know hard drives can be manipulated,” Rep. Goldman stated to a witness. “Hard drives can be manipulated by Rudy Giuliani or Russia. There is actual evidence of it, but the point is it’s not the same thing.”
Despite facing charges in Georgia related to his efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election, Giuliani has not been indicted in connection to the laptop.
