Utah Senator Mitt Romney recently stirred up significant discussion with his resolute stance regarding former President Donald Trump’s potential candidacy for the White House in 2024.
A consistent critic of Trump, Romney affirmed his decision not to support the former president’s campaign, citing Trump’s past indiscretions as a pivotal factor, as detailed by Inquisitr on Wednesday, May 15, 2024.

Pointing to the court’s ruling regarding Trump’s alleged sexual assault of writer E. Jean Carroll in the 1990s, Romney stated, “I will not be supporting former President Trump. I find sexual assault to be a non-negotiable factor in selecting a president.”
He conveyed these sentiments during a press briefing at the Utah Capitol in February.
“We have a presidential candidate who has been accused of sexual assault. Personally, I draw the line at that,” Romney added.
