Authorities in Austin, Texas, have provided a critical update in the ongoing search for 12-year-old Jazzlyn Anzora, who remains missing after an AMBER Alert was issued earlier this week.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the suspect connected to the case has been located, and the vehicle believed to have been involved has been recovered. Despite this development, officials confirm that Jazzlyn has not yet been found.

The investigation is being led by the Travis County Sheriff’s Office, which continues to coordinate search efforts across the area. Authorities emphasize that the case remains active and that the child may still be in danger.

Jazzlyn was last seen at approximately 12:00 a.m. on February 24 in the 1700 block of Wells Branch Parkway in North Austin.

She is described as:

12 years old
5 feet 3 inches tall
Approximately 140 pounds
Black hair and brown eyes

At the time of her disappearance, she was reportedly wearing a red sweater, a white long-sleeve shirt, Christmas-themed pants, and carrying a Nike backpack.

Authorities had identified 18-year-old Henry Mejia as the suspect in the case. Officials have confirmed that he has now been located, though additional details regarding his status have not been released.

The red 2017 Ford Mustang believed to be associated with the case has also been recovered. The vehicle bears Texas license plate VVK2712 and is described as having aftermarket chrome wheels and a white logo sticker on the passenger-side window.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information about Jazzlyn Anzora whereabouts to act immediately.
