Amber Heard, known for her role in Aquaman, married Johnny Depp in 2015 but filed for divorce just a year later. Their initial divorce settlement in 2016 seemed amicable, but things took a turn following Heard’s op-ed in The Washington Post in 2018. Although she didn’t name Depp directly, she detailed her experiences with sexual abuse and violence, leading Depp to sue her for defamation.
