Jelly Roll, the rising country star, has recently achieved a significant personal milestone alongside his musical success. As the singer celebrates his first-ever No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with Beautifully Broken, he also announced an incredible accomplishment in his fitness journey—losing 100 pounds.
In a video shared on Instagram on Monday (Oct. 21), the “Son of a Sinner” singer gave fans a glimpse into his fitness routine while on tour. “Next year when y’all see me, you won’t recognize me,” he said, showing his commitment to staying active. The clip also featured his personal chef and nutrition coach, Ian Larios, who praised Jelly Roll for his hard work. “Jelly’s been crushing it,” Larios shared, highlighting how the artist has been staying active through walking, playing basketball, and boxing during his tour.
This achievement comes just six months after Jelly Roll revealed he’d lost 70 pounds while training for the 2 Bears 5K back in April. Having previously weighed over 500 pounds, the two-time Grammy nominee has been open about his ongoing health journey since 2018.
In addition to his weight-loss victory, Jelly Roll’s musical career has reached new heights with Beautifully Broken. Released on Oct. 10, the album has skyrocketed to the top of the Billboard 200, securing 161,000 equivalent album units in its first week. This marks his first No. 1 album, following the success of 2023’s Whitsitt Chapel, which peaked at No. 3.
Adding to the celebration, Jelly Roll’s wife, Bunnie XO, shared her excitement on Instagram Stories following the chart news, writing, “We did it!!!!!!” alongside a sobbing emoji, expressing her pride in both his health and career achievements.
Jelly Roll’s journey, both musically and personally, continues to inspire fans as he proves that with dedication and hard work, incredible transformation is possible.
