Ben Affleck is embracing his single life with a taste for fast food and high-end living. The actor was recently spotted ordering Chick-fil-A to his luxurious Brentwood, California, rental home, which costs a staggering $100,000 per month.
On Friday, Affleck, dressed in khakis and a maroon crew neck, was seen stepping outside his rental’s gray entry gate to collect his food delivery. After ensuring his order was complete, he retreated to the privacy of his opulent estate.
This fast food delivery comes just a week after Affleck was seen picking up Jack In the Box from a delivery person, suggesting that fast food might be a weekend ritual for him. Affleck, 52, has been residing in this upscale rental since June, reportedly moving his belongings there while Jennifer Lopez vacationed in Europe amid their ongoing divorce.
In July, Affleck purchased a $20.5 million mansion in the exclusive Pacific Palisades neighborhood of Los Angeles, but he has yet to move in. Meanwhile, he and Lopez, 55, have been attempting to sell their massive 12-bedroom, 24-bathroom mansion, which is listed for a hefty $68 million. The couple bought this property for $60 million last year following their July 2022 Las Vegas elopement.
Lopez filed for divorce on August 20, citing irreconcilable differences. Despite this, a source revealed that Lopez is “furious” and “embarrassed” by Affleck, especially after she had publicly praised him as the love of her life. While the split has been hard for her, another source mentioned that Lopez feels “relieved” to move forward.
Insiders have noted that Affleck’s reluctance to embrace the spotlight and his apparent disinterest in saving their marriage were ongoing issues. Lopez’s frustration has been evident, with sources indicating that she feels the need to focus on herself as the relationship ended.
As Affleck continues to enjoy his lavish rental and fast food indulgences, it remains to be seen when he will transition to his new mansion and what the future holds for both him and Lopez.
