Prominent liberal media outlets have chosen to largely ignore the ongoing Biden impeachment inquiry. This stark contrast in their approach is in sharp contrast to their exhaustive coverage of the 2019 Trump impeachment proceedings.
Major networks such as CNN, MSNBC, NBC, CBS, and ABC, which previously dedicated significant airtime to the Trump impeachment, have opted for an almost complete blackout regarding the fourth presidential impeachment inquiry in U.S. history. This glaring difference in media coverage bias has not gone unnoticed.
BREAKING: CNN, MSNBC and the Big 3 TV networks have all blacked out coverage of today's Biden impeachment inquiry, only the fourth presidential impeachment inquiry in U.S. history — in stark contrast to their wall-to-wall coverage of the 2019 Trump impeachment inquiry #MediaBias

In contrast, the Trump impeachment hearings were a media extravaganza, with networks reserving prime-time slots to provide the public with every development, often with a left-leaning perspective. The Washington Post, for example, emphasized the significance of televised impeachment inquiry hearings in 2019, drawing parallels with the Nixon and Clinton eras.
While Nixon resigned before formal impeachment, the media played a vital role in uncovering the Watergate scandal that led to his downfall. Newspapers like The Washington Post and The New York Times, along with network TV news, played key roles in investigating and reporting on Watergate.
Similarly, Trump’s impeachments received extensive coverage from all media outlets. The proceedings were broadcast live on both network and cable TV, and online platforms provided comprehensive coverage. Social media, particularly Twitter and Facebook, served as major hubs for discussions and information dissemination.
However, the same level of enthusiasm and commitment appears to be lacking today. Many view the media’s decision to downplay the Biden impeachment inquiry as evidence of a partisan agenda that has eroded public trust.
The inquiry into the potential impeachment of President Joe Biden began on September 12, triggered by concerns related to Biden’s potential business dealings involving his son, Hunter. Allegations include political misconduct, foreign influence, abuse of authority, and interference in ongoing investigations, suggesting preferential treatment for Hunter during a federal probe.
Led by House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer, the investigation was initiated by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to scrutinize the irregularities associated with the Biden family.
For those who did cover Thursday’s impeachment proceedings, significant evidence against the Biden family came to light.
