Brent Fekety, the suspect called the police claiming to be armed with a gun and threatening to shoot people. When officers arrived at the scene, they found the suspect still seated in a vehicle.
A brief verbal exchange between the officers and the suspect ensued, which quickly escalated when the suspect displayed aggressive behavior. This ultimately led to the officers discharging their weapons in an attempt to neutralize the threat.
