In a candid address during his campaign visit to Fort Dodge, Iowa, former President Donald Trump revisited the controversial ‘Golden Showers’ allegations that emerged from the infamous Steele Dossier in 2017. As the 2024 Presidential Elections approach, Trump seized the opportunity to address the claims and reflect on how his wife, Melania Trump, responded to the tumultuous accusations.
Years after the release of the contentious dossier, which purportedly detailed unorthodox activities involving Trump and alleged ties to Russia, Trump took the stage to share his thoughts on the matter. Referring to the specific content of the dossier, Trump addressed the crowd, stating, “He was with four hookers. Do you think that was good that night? To go up and tell my wife, ‘It is not true darling. I love you very much. It’s not true!’”
The dossier, compiled by former British Spy Christopher Steele, labeled the entire incident as a ‘Golden Shower,’ a term that has since become infamous. Despite the lack of substantial evidence supporting the claims, Trump chose to delve into the specifics during his address.
According to Trump, when he discussed the allegations with Melania, she staunchly defended him, asserting that he is a germaphobe and not inclined toward such activities. Trump quoted Melania’s response, “He’s a germaphobe, he’s not into that. He is not into golden showers, as they say, they call it. He’s not.”
Expressing his concerns about the potential strain on their marriage, Trump admitted, “I don’t like that idea. I thought that would be a big problem. I was going to have a rough night.” However, he praised Melania for her unwavering support, stating, “She was very good on. She said, ‘You’re okay on that one.”
Trump concluded by characterizing the allegations stemming from the Steele Dossier as a “continuation of the greatest witch hunt of all time,” emphasizing their unfavorable impact on his presidency.
The Steele Dossier, named after the spy who compiled it, alleges that Trump was “compromised” by the Russian Security service FSB, with further claims that Russian President Vladimir Putin “supported and directed” a mission to “cultivate” Trump as a Presidential candidate for five years. Trump vehemently denies the contents of the dossier, leaving the truth of the matter still awaiting discovery.
