Melania Trump’s ex-aide, Stephanie Winston Wolkoff, is raising eyebrows, calling out Melania’s upcoming role in a naturalization ceremony as a mere distraction from the real issues within the Trump family.
Scheduled for December 15th, Melania is set to address a naturalization ceremony organized by the National Archives, where 25 individuals from diverse nations will become U.S. citizens as part of the annual Bill of Rights Day celebration.
Winston Wolkoff took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday to criticize her ex-boss, linking Melania’s involvement in the event to the ongoing investigation into Donald Trump’s handling of government records.
Amidst Donald’s legal battles, Wolkoff labels Melania’s hosting of the naturalization event as hypocritical, especially considering Melania’s past emphasis on an anti-bullying platform.
Pointing to the National Archives’ request for a Department of Justice investigation into Donald Trump’s record handling in February 2022, Wolkoff suggests Melania’s role is a strategic move by the Trumps to divert attention.
With the ex-president facing 40 charges, including accusations of mishandling records at his Mar-a-Lago residence, Wolkoff sees Melania as a tool of compliance and diversion, creating a stark contrast from the Trumps’ actual circumstances.
Wolkoff asserts that the Trumps’ actions contradict their professed beliefs and values, stating, As a mother and wife and someone who cares deeply about our democracy and American values, I know Melania Trump, and she doesn’t care about US.
Highlighting Melania’s foreign background as the second first lady not born in the United States, Wolkoff notes Melania’s lack of interest in emphasizing her roots.
The history between Melania and Wolkoff dates back to February 2018, when Melania severed ties with Wolkoff’s event planning firm, WIS Media Partners, following revelations of a $26 million payment for organizing Trump’s inauguration.
In her 2020 exposé ‘Melania and Me,’ Wolkoff claimed she left her position due to being made a scapegoat by the Trump administration and denied personally receiving the $26 million in question.
