U.S. Senate, Kari Lake, who faced defeat in the Arizona gubernatorial race, has attributed perceived obstructive forces reminiscent of the Illuminati to the challenges faced by former President Donald Trump in his efforts to mend a fractured nation and safeguard human civilization.
During an interview on Real America’s Voice, Lake, expressing her views, declared, “These are some of the most corrupt, disgusting evil people in the world.” As reported by Laurie Roberts of AZCentral, Lake accused these forces of advancing a globalist agenda without concern for the collateral damage inflicted along the way.
“They’ve got to win and get that globalist agenda moved forward, and the one man that’s most dangerous to that globalist agenda — which, by the way, will be the end of America, the globalist agenda — the one man standing in their way is the man you just saw on your screen, President Donald J. Trump,” she asserted.
Lake continued, alleging a conspiracy against Trump, stating, “And that is why they unleashed viruses, they’ve tried to destroy economies, they’ve tried to shut down the country — to stop him.”
In response, Laurie Roberts expressed concern about Lake’s descent into what she termed a “bizarre land of the lost.” Roberts, in her column, noted Lake’s failure to specify who these conspirators are, pondering if they include various groups or individuals, ranging from Jews and Chinese to Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer or even imaginary entities like lizard people.
Roberts acknowledged that Lake’s embrace of conspiracy theories isn’t entirely surprising, given the current climate where such ideas, once relegated to the fringes, find acceptance as mainstream beliefs. She concluded, “But we are now living in conspiratorial times—a time in which it’s perfectly acceptable to spread chaos and fear in order to hang onto—or grab onto—power.”
