Grant shared in a recent NME interview how he attended the concert at Wembley Stadium with his daughter, who happens to be a huge Taylor Swift fan. Eager to give her an unforgettable experience, Grant “put out some feelers” for tickets. To his surprise, Swift’s team warmly welcomed them, and they soon found themselves in the VIP section alongside Kelce, Swift’s boyfriend and NFL sensation, as well as other big-name celebrities.
As Grant recalled, while his daughter and her friend “bopped away” to Swift’s biggest hits, he hung back with Kelce in a private area. “We were doing Tequila shots. We got absolutely smashed,” Grant said with a laugh, adding, “I thoroughly enjoyed it.” The night’s memories didn’t stop there—Swift herself responded to Grant’s appreciative tweet following the event, calling it “very important to [her] culture.” For Grant, the acknowledgment from the global pop icon was “extremely nice,” as he told NME.
