In a recent address, he reassured female supporters with statements like, “You will no longer be abandoned, lonely, or scared. You will no longer have anxiety from all of the problems our country has today. You will be protected, and I will be your protector.” He further asserted that women would be “happy, healthy, confident, and free,” dismissing concerns about sensitive topics like abortion.
During his rally, Trump donned a fluorescent utility vest, which he had worn earlier while interacting with a garbage truck. He recounted that his campaign team had warned him against his choice of words regarding women. “They said, ‘Sir, please don’t say that,'” Trump shared, questioning their reasoning. Despite their objections, he firmly stated, “I’m going to do it whether the women like it or not. I’ve gotta protect them.”
This declaration raises eyebrows, particularly considering Trump’s history. Last year, a civil jury found him liable for sexually assaulting writer E. Jean Carroll in the 1990s. Furthermore, just last week, former model Stacey Williams accused Trump of groping her, adding to the list of 27 women who have accused him of various degrees of sexual misconduct.
