Thank you for disciplining my kids when they’ve needed it and for offering more hugs than some children receive in a lifetime.”
Garner’s message continued with appreciation for the high standards the teachers set. She acknowledged the challenges of teaching, stating, “I’m sure that the demands and frustrations of the classroom can obfuscate the mission behind your place in it. But what’s more noble than teaching children — not a whole lot, as far as I can tell.”

Despite their high-profile lives, Garner and Affleck, who divorced in 2018, have worked diligently to keep their children out of the public eye. Garner has even advocated for an anti-paparazzi bill in California, aiming to protect children from intrusive photographers.
