Conservative commentator Mark Levin did not shy away from condemning President Joe Biden on Monday, alleging a history of relentless attacks and threats against Israel. In a social media post, Levin claimed that Biden’s antagonistic stance toward Israel dates back to his tenure in the Senate, challenging the narrative of Biden as a lifelong supporter of the nation.
“Biden is NOT a life-long supporter of Israel. He has constantly threatened them, as far back as his time in the Senate. Israel must not accept another terror state on its border, regardless of what this senile fool continues to demand,” Levin asserted on X.
Levin’s criticisms coincided with President Biden hosting Jordan’s King Abdullah at the White House on the same day. Abdullah, a proponent of a Gaza cease-fire, reiterated his position during the meeting.
President Biden has been applying pressure on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, urging restraint amid escalating tensions. He has cited death tolls from the Gazan Health Ministry, linked to Hamas terrorists, as a basis for his stance.
Levin was unreserved in his critique of Biden’s Middle East policy, asserting that the President refuses to take responsibility for the consequences of his actions. According to Levin, Biden’s backing of the Iran nuclear deal and financial support for other terrorist organizations significantly contributed to the current state of affairs.
“Donald Trump demonstrated how peace is to be made in the Middle East, and Biden blew it all up. Biden takes no responsibility for the deaths and inhumanity that he had a major role in by funding Iran and the other terrorists. Now, he insists that Israel commit suicide. And stands there with Jordan’s King, teaming up against Israel,” Levin added.
Last week, President Biden criticized Israel’s military response in Gaza, labeling it as “over the top.” Levin highlighted what he saw as a contradiction in Biden’s stance, pointing out that the President stood beside King Abdullah, who used the White House platform to demand Israel stand down.
The ongoing tension between the Biden administration and Israel raises concerns among supporters of the latter. Critics argue that Biden’s approach undermines the strong alliance between the two nations, while others fear the potential consequences of pressuring Israel to comply with cease-fire demands.
As the situation in the Middle East continues to evolve, figures like Mark Levin contribute to the divisive nature of discussions surrounding Biden’s foreign policy decisions and their implications for regional stability.
