Paramount’s upcoming present-day Yellowstone spin-off, The Madison, has added a notable name to its growing cast. Matthew Fox, best known for his roles in Lost and Party of Five, is set to join the series, marking his return to television after a significant hiatus. Fox will portray Paul, a rugged and self-reliant bachelor with a passion for the outdoors.

The addition of Fox comes on the heels of Michelle Pfeiffer’s involvement. Pfeiffer, who will also serve as an executive producer, plays Stacy Clyburn, a wealthy matriarch who relocates her family from New York City to the scenic Madison River Valley in Montana. This move follows the tragic deaths of her husband and brother-in-law in a plane crash.

The show promises a heartfelt exploration of grief and human connection, set against the backdrop of Montana’s stunning landscapes. The cast has expanded with the inclusion of Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Beau Chapman, and Amiah Miller. Adams will take on the role of Russell McIntosh, a young investment banker, while Chapman will play Paige McIntosh, a character indulging in a luxurious lifestyle. Miller will portray Bridgette, Abigail’s eldest daughter, with Garrett playing Abigail Reese, a resilient New Yorker navigating recent divorce and motherhood.

The Madison will be executive produced by a powerhouse team including Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, and Michelle Pfeiffer, among others. The show marks the first Yellowstone series set in the present day, setting it apart from its predecessors.

Matthew Fox, who took a break from acting from 2014 to 2021, has expressed enthusiasm for his return. He described his previous projects as fulfilling his career aspirations, including his work in the genre of Westerns. Fox took time off to focus on family and personal interests, including music and writing, before making his comeback with this new role.
