Renowned as the ‘Lord of the Dance’, Michael Flatley recently shared insights into his ongoing battle with cancer, shedding light on a surprising ally in his fight: a bio-energy healer. Despite facing the daunting challenge of cancer since his diagnosis in January 2023, Flatley, now 65, remains resolute and optimistic.

Reflecting on his past health challenges, Flatley recounted a particularly trying episode in 2005 when he was struck by a baffling virus on the eve of his ‘Celtic Tiger’ European tour. Despite exhaustive medical examinations at a prestigious London hospital, the nature of the illness remained elusive to doctors, leading to the cancellation of his tour.
Conventional medicine faltered in his case, but a chance encounter with O’Doherty proved transformative. Recalling the profound impact of O’Doherty’s healing sessions, Flatley shared, “I could barely get out of the chair. He saw me for about an hour and I walked for about a mile afterwards, which was the first time in a year that I’d been able to do that.”
