MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” showcased some of former President Donald Trump’s most outrageous and perplexing recent comments regarding global affairs. The supercut, aired on Tuesday morning, captured moments where the Republican presidential front-runner referred to Hungary’s prime minister as the leader of Turkey, praised the militant group Hezbollah as “very smart,” and declared his intent to ban immigrants who “don’t like our religion.”
“He’s lost. That’s some of Donald Trump’s greatest hits on foreign policy,” remarked MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough, underscoring that the video didn’t encompass all of Trump’s recent blunders. “And by the way, Biden does it too,” Scarborough added, acknowledging similar gaffes by President Joe Biden. “They’re both old men, and they’re both doing it.”
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, a guest on the program and one of Trump’s leading critics in the 2024 presidential race, attributed the former president’s erratic behavior to “the stress of what he knows is coming in his criminal problems.”
Trump is currently facing four criminal indictments and is concurrently involved in a $2.5 million civil trial in New York, where a judge has already found him liable for fraud. These legal challenges appear to be taking a toll on Trump, as evidenced by his erratic and controversial statements on the global stage, leaving both critics and political analysts bewildered.
