According to a report by News max on Thursday, November 2, 2023, Representative Andy Ogles, a Republican from Tennessee, strongly condemned President Joe Biden, labeling him as a “joke of a president” unable to deter America’s adversaries.
Ogles, who is vying for the governorship of Tennessee in 2023, criticized Biden’s foreign policy, asserting that it has emboldened countries such as China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea to challenge the United States and its allies.
Describing Biden as weak, frail, and confused, Ogles expressed that the president is not taken seriously, adding, “He’s weak, he’s frail, he’s confused. He can’t even read a teleprompter.”
Ogles particularly pointed to Biden’s mishandled withdrawal from Afghanistan, resulting in the loss of American service members’ lives, civilian casualties, and leaving substantial military equipment in the hands of the Taliban.
Moreover, he criticized Biden’s perceived inaction regarding the border crisis, citing a surge in illegal immigrants entering the country, many carrying diseases, including COVID-19.
Asserting Biden’s domestic policy as disastrous, Ogles accused the President of advocating for excessive spending that fuels inflation, hikes taxes, and expands government control.
He adamantly stated, “He’s destroying our economy, he’s destroying our sovereignty, he’s destroying our national security. He’s the worst president in American history.”
Ogles highlighted his bid for the governorship, emphasizing his goal to protect Tennessee from what he perceives as Biden’s radical policies and to uphold the state’s conservative values.
He outlined his support for lower taxes, reduced regulations, school choice, gun rights, pro-life legislation, and election integrity. Additionally, he declared his opposition to vaccine mandates, critical race theory, mask mandates, and lockdowns.
Drawing attention to his experience as a successful businessman, a county mayor, and a leader in conservative advocacy, Ogles underscored his endorsement by former President Donald Trump and expressed confidence in winning the Republican primary and the subsequent general election.
He expressed his belief that Tennessee serves as a model for the country and affirmed his commitment to collaborating with other Republican governors to resist what he views as Biden’s overreach.
“Tennessee is a great state. We have a great economy, great people, and great values,” said Ogles, asserting his determination to stand against what he sees as Biden’s socialist agenda and his commitment to fortify Tennessee’s position.
