Not stopping at praising elected leaders, Trump expressed admiration for dictators who inherited their power, including North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. Trump’s statement, suggesting that being an absolute tyrant is praiseworthy, raised eyebrows among attendees. Instead, they focused on the rally’s atmosphere, describing it as a “Make America Great Again festival” and highlighting Trump’s comparisons between President Joe Biden and Fidel Castro, disregarding Trump’s praise for authoritarian leaders and geographical inaccuracies.
