See How Donald Trump’s latest SPEECH was riddled with BLUNDERS. You shouldn’t need Daily Kos to tell you

In a contentious rally held in South Florida on Wednesday night, former President Donald Trump delivered a speech riddled with inaccuracies, praise for authoritarian leaders, and bizarre statements. While Republican candidates engaged in a debate in Florida, Trump seized the opportunity to hold a rally in the same state, drawing attention for all the wrong reasons.

During the rally, Trump praised Hungary’s authoritarian leader, Viktor Orban, for the second time in recent weeks, albeit this time with the correct country association. However, he displayed a startling lack of geographic knowledge, falsely claiming that Hungary shares a border with Russia. In reality, Ukraine acts as a buffer between Hungary and Russia, a fact Trump seemed unaware of.

Not stopping at praising elected leaders, Trump expressed admiration for dictators who inherited their power, including North Korea’s Kim Jong Un. Trump’s statement, suggesting that being an absolute tyrant is praiseworthy, raised eyebrows among attendees. Moreover, he inaccurately stated the population of North Korea as 1.4 billion, a figure far from the actual 26 million.

Comparisons were drawn to past political gaffes, such as President Gerald Ford’s infamous statement about Soviet domination in Eastern Europe, which haunted him throughout his campaign despite his long political career. Contrarily, Trump’s recent blunders have largely gone unnoticed by the mainstream media.

Despite the gravity of his errors and controversial statements, major news outlets, including The New York Times, CNN, and USA Today, failed to report on Trump’s rally in detail. Instead, they focused on the rally’s atmosphere, describing it as a “Make America Great Again festival” and highlighting Trump’s comparisons between President Joe Biden and Fidel Castro, disregarding Trump’s praise for authoritarian leaders and geographical inaccuracies.

The incident sheds light on a recurring pattern in the media, where Trump’s contentious remarks often go unchecked, raising concerns about the quality of information reaching the public. While Trump’s rally became a spectacle, the media’s failure to scrutinize his statements underscores the challenges faced in maintaining a well-informed electorate amid a highly polarized political landscape.
