Donald Trump’s lawyer, Christopher Kise, has given a heads-up to the judge in the New York civil trial following a surprising revelation.
Kise leads the defense team in the trial, which revolves around claims of fraud and financial wrongdoing by the Trump Organization, as reported by Conservative Brief on November 4, 2023.
The trial has been going on for a few months and has garnered lots of attention from the media and the public.
As per a Politico report, the nature of the big revelation mentioned by Kise remains unclear, but it comes after a series of tense exchanges between the Trump legal team and Judge Arthur Engoron.

These clashes mainly revolve around allegations of bias and misconduct involving court staff, including Judge Engoron’s law clerk, Allison Greenfield.
The Trump legal team accuses Greenfield of favoring the other side and claims that she is improperly influencing the ongoing trial.
The tension between the Trump legal team and Judge Engoron has been heating up recently. Last Thursday, Kise raised objections to the judge and his legal aide passing notes, with Trump’s lawyers calling her a secretary and suggesting she was playing a big role in the trial.
This infuriated Engoron, who banged on his bench and threatened to expand the gag order against the former president to include his entire legal team over these remarks.

The gag order has been a major point of conflict between the Trump legal team and Judge Engoron. This order, imposed by U.S. District Judge Tanya Chutkan, prevents Trump from making public statements that target prosecutors, court staff, and potential witnesses in the case against him, where he’s accused of conspiring to overturn the 2020 election he lost to President Joe Biden.
However, the order still allows the former president to maintain his innocence and claim that the case against him is politically motivated.
The decision to warn Judge Engoron again comes after Eric Trump stumbled during the family’s fraud trial, admitting he knew about the Trump Organization’s financial statement as far back as 2013, directly contradicting his previous statement.
Tensions in the courtroom have been high since the start of the trial, when Trump spread a false rumor online about Engoron’s law clerk, Allison Greenfield, allegedly dating Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
