Surprising twist, Patrick Mahomes has credited Taylor Swift with influencing his Kansas City Chiefs teammate, Travis Kelce, to undergo a significant style change. During an interview with SiriusXM for its “Town Hall from Training Camp,” Mahomes revealed that Kelce’s recent decision to grow out his hair is due to Swift’s influence.
“I’ve been trying to get him to grow his hair out, and all of a sudden, Taylor gets him to do it,” Mahomes joked. Traditionally known for his buzz cut, Kelce has recently been seen sporting a shaggier hairstyle, a shift that has captured fans’ attention.
Since publicly confirming their relationship last fall, Kelce and Swift have become one of Hollywood’s most talked-about couples. Their romance was further highlighted in June when Kelce made a surprise appearance at one of Swift’s Eras Tour concerts in London. During a May appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show,” he revealed, “I was the one who invited Travis to the first Taylor concert with the friendship bracelet. He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker. I had some input in there as well.”
