Former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger has unleashed a brutal verbal assault on Donald Trump, calling him a “scared, trembling, sissy, husk of a man” in response to the former president’s latest remarks on Ukraine. The blistering takedown, which quickly went viral on social media, paints Trump as weak and capitulating to Russia—sparking outrage across political circles.
Kinzinger, a former Air National Guard lieutenant colonel turned CNN commentator, slammed Trump on X after the former president claimed it was “unlikely” that Ukraine would ever reclaim the territory it lost to Russia since 2014. Defending his stance, Trump argued that Russia had “fought for that land and lost a lot of soldiers,” signaling a dramatic shift in U.S. policy toward the war.
But Kinzinger wasn’t having it. In a fiery post, he ripped into Trump’s character, saying:
“Trump is surrendering America. He is the opposite of strong. He is a tiny, weak, small, scared, trembling, sissy, husk of a man. There is nothing manly about his fat, sweaty, smelly, gross, makeup’ed self. An absolute joke.”
The scathing attack follows mounting backlash over Trump’s controversial statements on Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who was left out of key U.S.-Russia talks in Saudi Arabia, accused Trump of living in a “disinformation space” controlled by Moscow. The tensions escalated when Trump, during a BBC interview aboard Air Force One, suggested that Russia had the upper hand in the war, saying, “They have the cards a little bit, because they’ve taken a lot of territory.”
The backlash intensified when British soldier Shaun Pinner, who was captured and tortured by Russian forces while defending Ukraine, joined the chorus of critics. In a shocking revelation, Pinner recounted his brutal captivity, where he was “electrocuted, beaten, stabbed in the leg, and starved.” He condemned Trump’s stance, saying, “TRUMP IS MAD OR OWNED.”
The firestorm surrounding Trump’s comments deepened further on Wednesday when he escalated his rhetoric, labeling Zelensky a “dictator” and warning that Ukraine must strike a deal quickly or risk losing everything. His remarks have alarmed European allies, who fear that his approach to the war is playing directly into Putin’s hands.
Trump’s apparent shift in policy comes just weeks into his presidency, with his administration already making drastic moves—including high-level talks with Russia that have left Ukraine sidelined. As tensions mount and criticism grows, one thing is clear: Trump’s handling of the Ukraine conflict is fueling fierce debate, and his GOP critics are not holding back.
