Between 1 and 2 a.m. Eastern, the former president unleashed a flurry of fiery messages on his Truth Social platform, lashing out at a judge, slamming public broadcasters, defending his controversial tariffs, and even issuing a warning to America’s closest allies.
Trump’s late-night tirade kicked off with a furious attack on U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, who has previously ruled against him and recently picked up another case involving the former president. Calling it “statistically, IMPOSSIBLE” that Boasberg was assigned the case, Trump accused the judge of having “Massive Trump Derangement Syndrome!” and even suggested “disqualifying family conflicts.”
Minutes later, he turned his attention to PBS and NPR, calling them “completely biased” and a “giant SCAM.” He demanded that Congress pull their funding, continuing his long-standing feud with public broadcasting.
Not long after, Trump shifted gears, celebrating his upcoming tariffs, which have sparked market fears and economic uncertainty. In an all-caps declaration, he called the date they take effect “LIBERATION DAY IN AMERICA,” framing the tariffs as a patriotic victory rather than a looming economic battle.
Then, at 1:50 a.m., he fired off a direct threat to the European Union, warning them not to support Canada as his tariffs take effect—or face even harsher economic consequences.
Trump’s latest unfiltered outburst adds to the growing list of erratic social media rants, leaving critics questioning whether these impulsive tirades should be taken as official policy or just another midnight meltdown.
