Trump Supporters Charged in Connection to Jan. 6 Capitol Riot

Unexpected turn of events, a couple from Massapequa, New York, has been arrested and charged in connection with the January 6 Capitol riot, adding a new dimension to the ongoing investigation.

Kevin Moore, 61, and Carol Moore, 57, were apprehended by the FBI and are facing charges of misdemeanor trespassing and disorderly conduct, as confirmed by the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York.

The Moores appeared before a U.S. magistrate judge and were released on their own recognizance following their arrest.

The charges stem from security footage and photographs allegedly placing the Moores inside the Capitol during the riot, as well as their attendance at previous related events.

According to court documents, the couple was identified on Capitol security video, with footage purportedly showing them taking photographs of other rioters and law enforcement officers.

Kevin Moore was also allegedly seen aggressively interacting with a law enforcement officer during the events of January 6.
