Trump’s Next Move: Super PAC Targets Nikki Haley – Prepare for Political Shockwaves

Make America Great Again Inc., the super PAC supporting former President Donald Trump, is set to unleash a targeted campaign against Nikki Haley, the former UN ambassador and current contender for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination, in New Hampshire. This marks the first offensive move by the group against Haley, underscoring her escalating influence in the crucial early primary state.

TV ad-buying paperwork recently revealed that Make America Great Again Inc. has informed a CBS station in Boston about an impending ad titled “Really” specifically aimed at Nikki Haley. The ad, scheduled to debut on Tuesday, according to the ad contract, is poised to make a significant impact, considering the broad coverage of the Boston media market in New Hampshire.

In swift response to this development, Nikki Haley took to social media platform X, stating, “Two days ago, Donald Trump denied our surge in New Hampshire existed. Now, he’s running a negative ad against me. Someone’s getting nervous. #BringIt”

Recent polls in New Hampshire indicate Haley’s increasing distance from other Republican candidates and gaining ground on Trump as the primary approaches next month. The recent endorsement by New Hampshire’s popular Republican governor, Chris Sununu, adds to her momentum. However, Trump continues to maintain a substantial lead in the state, with double-digit leads in recent public surveys.

Make America Great Again Inc., inactive in New Hampshire airwaves since late June, is making a significant comeback with the upcoming ad campaign targeting Haley. Karoline Leavitt, a spokesperson for MAGA Inc., emphasized the super PAC’s dedication to exposing what they consider as undeserving career politicians in the Republican nomination race. Leavitt stated, “Nikki Haley has lied to increase taxes, she has lied to get in the race, and she will try to lie to win it. We won’t let another tax-and-spend politician try to fool the voters.”

Despite MAGA Inc. spending $2 million on ads in the Granite State so far, it pales in comparison to the $45.9 million spent by GOP candidates and outside groups on ads in New Hampshire. The top-spending Republican group in the state, the pro-Haley super PAC SFA Fund Inc., has invested $13.9 million in ads, according to AdImpact.

In a notable escalation, MAGA Inc. is intensifying its ad spending in New Hampshire, reserving over $2.1 million in airtime over the next three weeks. It’s crucial to highlight that Trump’s super PAC is not the only Republican entity targeting Haley. During this month’s GOP debate, all candidates, excluding Trump, launched attacks against her. Additionally, a pro-Ron DeSantis super PAC named Fight Right has been assigned the task of discrediting Haley to voters, showcasing the intricate dynamics within the Republican field. Notably, earlier this year, MAGA Inc. released an attack ad against DeSantis, criticizing the Florida governor for his prior support of a national sales tax.
