Carville claimed that medical professionals suggested hand sores could be indicative of secondary syphilis, as noted by the CDC, which often manifests as a rash on various body areas, including the palms and soles.

However, Alex Jones countered these claims, attributing the marks to a “golfer’s rash” that he claims to have experienced frequently from playing golf. He highlighted Trump’s intense golf routine, alleging up to two complete 18-hole rounds daily.
Business Insider sought clarity on the matter, consulting dermatologists who proposed potential reasons for the marks, including dry skin, lime juice exposure, golf blisters, or an unidentified cause. Dr. Joshua Zeichner, an associate professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, emphasized that hand rashes can have various origins.
Despite Trump’s well-known passion for golf, the accuracy of Jones’ explanation remains uncertain. Anti-Trump voices on social media have consistently questioned the former president’s health, including cognitive decline, without concrete evidence supporting these claims.
