Marshall, in an interview with GB News, expressed reservations about Trump’s stance on certain key issues, particularly criticizing his approach to the LGBT agenda as beyond tolerant.
While acknowledging Trump’s foreign policy achievements, especially in Afghanistan, Ukraine, and the Israel-Palestinian conflict, Marshall raised concerns about the former president’s consistency on pro-life issues.

During the interview, Marshall shared his decision not to pursue a presidential candidacy, emphasizing his desire to highlight what he perceived as deficiencies in Trump’s campaign.
I threw out a presidential candidacy attempt this year because not that I thought I would beat out Donald Trump. I wanted to throw my hat into the ring and say some of the deficiencies in Trump’s campaign, Marshall explained.
Regarding Trump’s impact on the judiciary, Marshall recognized the former president’s efforts to appoint judges potentially influencing Roe v. Wade. However, he underscored Trump’s pro-life stance as not consistently aligned with Republican and Christian expectations.
In praising Trump’s foreign policy approach, Marshall suggested that crises in Afghanistan and Ukraine might have been averted or less escalated if Trump had remained in office. Marshall attributed this potential outcome to Trump’s perceived strength and decisiveness, contrasting it with perceived weaknesses in President Biden’s administration.
I have little doubt in my mind that if he was still president, we would not have had the disaster in Afghanistan, and this conflict in Ukraine would not have been as escalated as it is, Marshall stated.
In response to recent criticism from the White House, with President Biden likening Trump’s rhetoric to that of Nazi Germany, a spokesperson from Trump’s campaign defended the former president’s comments. The spokesperson labeled Biden’s accusation as despicable and reinforced Trump’s commitment to addressing perceived threats within the country.
