One of the most painful revelations King shared was being sent to a “fat camp” by Schneider. As a child who struggled with weight issues, she felt the move was damaging and indicative of her father’s insensitivity. King also criticized Schneider for his disapproval of her tattoos and his failure to remember significant birthdays, including her 18th.
