Gregory, who portrayed Brian Tanner from 1986 to 1990, was found deceased alongside his service dog, Hans, in his car on June 13 at a Chase bank parking lot in Peoria, Arizona, as reported by TMZ and The New York Times. Hertzberg-Pfaffinger shared the heartbreaking news on Facebook, describing her brother as a cherished son, brother, and uncle known for his infectious laughter and bright personality.
Despite Gregory’s successful career that included appearances in “The Twilight Zone,” “The A-Team,” and films like “Jumpin’ Jack Flash” and “Once Upon a Forest,” he struggled with depression, bipolar disorder, and a sleep disorder. According to his sister, Gregory had visited the bank to deposit residual checks on June 12 but tragically succumbed to vehicular heatstroke after falling asleep in his car.
