Recent report by Leakxtra on Thursday, November 2, 2023, House Oversight Chair James Comer, a Republican from Kentucky, announced that the committee is getting ready to issue subpoenas to the extended Biden family.
This move is part of an investigation into something called an “influence peddling scheme” involving Hunter Biden and James Biden, who are reported to have gathered around $20 million.
Comer shared this news while speaking on “Eric Bolling The Balance.” He told Eric Bolling that he’s pretty confident about the case they’ve put together. He assured the American people that soon they’ll see some serious progress in holding President Joe Biden and his family accountable.
We’ve built a strong case that can stand up in court, and we’ve even got access to the Bidens’ personal bank records,” Comer said.
The big focus of the investigation is tracking where all the money went, and Comer said they now have lots of bank records that can help them make a strong case.
“Now that we can follow the money, we have enough bank records to bring the Bidens in for questioning,” Comer mentioned. “So we’re getting everything ready to do that. We just need a couple more bank statements, and it should happen in a few days.”
Comer also believes that the American people who want to see the Bidens held accountable will be pleased with the next steps the committee takes.
The announcement from James Comer came after he talked about a “loan repayment” check from James Biden to his brother, President Biden, the day before. This check was for $40,000 and came from CEFC, a Chinese energy company. This company had ties to Joe Biden, as he was said to get a 10% share in a business deal with the Chinese Communist Party.
Comer pointed out that this whole issue goes back to something that happened in 2017, where Hunter Biden was involved.
Interestingly, Comer hinted that they might consider looking at President Joe Biden’s personal bank records if they decide to have impeachment hearings.
Speaker Mike Johnson agreed with this and suggested that a decision about impeachment might be coming soon.
Comer emphasized the need for a lot of information, saying, “When it comes to the Biden family, there are nine family members who got money from this influence peddling scheme.” He added, “We want to know exactly what each family member did to get that money. It’s unfortunate that even grandkids and family members who probably didn’t know money was going into their accounts got involved in this.”
