Approximately 30 minutes later, officers were called to another overdose incident less than two miles away, at West 4th Street and Illinois Street. The third overdose call came in at approximately 3:45 a.m. near North 1st Street and Maple, at the Lawrence homeless support site. Workers at the camp informed the officers that they had administered seven doses of Narcan to a 39-year-old woman before their arrival. Police reported that the woman had a pulse and was breathing when she was taken to the hospital.
