Former White House press secretary and Fox News host Kayleigh McEnany criticized the attempts by some states to bar former President Donald Trump from the 2024 ballot, calling the efforts “unconstitutional” and “desperate.” McEnany, co-hosting the show Outnumbered, responded to legal challenges in states like Colorado, Alaska, Maryland, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Mexico, and Rhode Island, seeking to prevent Trump from running again under the 14th Amendment.

McEnany dismissed the lawsuits as “ridiculous” and “baseless,” arguing that Trump did not incite the Capitol riot and has the right to challenge election results in court. She claimed that states pursuing this strategy fear Trump’s popularity and influence in the Republican Party and accused them of attempting to silence millions of Trump supporters.
Describing the efforts as violating the democratic process, McEnany accused the states of trying to disenfranchise the 74 million Americans who voted for Trump. She asserted that the lawsuits lack legal merit and accused the Biden administration of being behind the efforts, claiming Biden is afraid to face Trump in a rematch and is failing as president.
McEnany urged Republican voters to stand with Trump, emphasizing him as the “only hope” for the country’s future and encouraging support for his candidacy in 2024.
