However, she also noted that as a viewer, the experience can be quite different. “The show really, like, how I started to think about it was, as a former D1 athlete… I understand the intensity and the determination and the practice and all that goes into these big moments, but as a viewer at home it’s like a completely different experience.”

Cooper aims to create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for viewers. “You want to have fun, you want to chill, you want to be eating and drinking and shmoozing,” she said.
