Dion continued her praise, saying, “Your performance was spectacular, your production was so beautiful. We loved seeing you and hearing you sing…it was such an emotional night for us all.” She acknowledged the profound impact Adele’s music has had on her life, especially during challenging times over the past few years.

Adele has previously announced her intention to take a break from performing after completing her current Las Vegas shows. This recent encounter also marks a full-circle moment for Adele. She fondly recalled visiting Dion backstage during the Canadian artist’s second Las Vegas residency in January 2018. Adele has often expressed her admiration for Dion, saying, “I have been performing in Céline Dion’s room at the Colosseum for almost 2 years now. It was the only venue I wanted to play in Vegas because it was built for her.”
