Former Republican New Jersey Governor Chris Christie criticized Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump during an episode of “The Source with Kaitlan Collins” on Thursday.
Christie commented on a recent report alleging that Trump had conversations with an Australian billionaire concerning classified submarine documents. When asked by former Daily Caller reporter Kaitlan Collins if these revelations could lead to Trump’s prosecution, Christie responded, “It’s just more whipped cream on the sundae.
Christie argued that this recent information adds to the evidence that Trump mishandled classified documents and suggested it reflects his personal insecurity. When questioned about whether this news would matter to GOP voters, he expressed his belief that it would.
He also dismissed the idea of Trump becoming the Speaker of the House, stating that Trump seems more interested in titles and acting like a “big shot” rather than achieving significant policy goals. Christie pointed out that Trump had not been successful in repealing Obamacare or building the promised border wall.
In this interview, Chris Christie voiced his concerns about Trump’s legal issues and questioned his suitability for public office.
