Roberts, 68, revealed that while he loves his sister dearly, he respects her desire for privacy. When asked about Julia’s well-being, he responded with a gentle deflection, stating, “You’ll have to ask her. I love my sister, but I can’t talk about her. She doesn’t want to talk about it.”

The actor went on to share similar sentiments regarding his daughter Emma, 33, who has carved her own path in Hollywood. “My daughter told me also not to talk about her, but I stumble and do,” Roberts admitted, acknowledging his occasional slip-ups in discussing his daughter’s life in public.

Despite these constraints, Roberts couldn’t contain his pride when discussing Emma’s career achievements. “I am in love with my daughter’s work these days,” he confessed. “Since her performance in ‘Maybe I Do’ until right now, she overwhelms me with pride.”

Reflecting on his own influence on Emma’s career, Roberts humbly remarked, “I’ve contributed absolutely nothing to her Hollywood career, except I gave her that name.” He expressed immense admiration for her accomplishments, noting, “She’s kicking ass. And I’m just so happy to be her dad.”

Emma Roberts herself has addressed the challenges of navigating Hollywood with a famous family name. In a recent interview with Flaunt magazine, she candidly discussed the impact of being perceived as a “nepo baby,” a term that gained traction on social media highlighting the advantages some celebrities’ children may have in the industry. Despite this, Emma emphasized that her journey has not been without its setbacks, revealing, “I’ve lost more jobs than I’ve gained from being in the business.”

As Eric Roberts continues to support his daughter from the sidelines, his rare insights into family dynamics and fame offer a glimpse into the complexities of Hollywood life. His unwavering pride in Emma’s achievements serves as a testament to their enduring bond amidst the glitz and challenges of Tinseltown.
