A recent report from Daily Mail on November 11, 2023, President Biden encountered a barrage of disapproval from hundreds of pro-Palestine protesters who gathered at his Delaware residence, accusing him of supporting what they claim is genocide in Gaza.

Carrying Palestinian flags and signs, the demonstrators chanted slogans like Biden, Biden, you can’t hide! We charge you with genocide! and In November, we will remember. The Delaware Palestine March was coordinated by various groups, including the American Muslims for Palestine and the Council on American-Islamic Relations.

This demonstration aligned with Biden’s return to his Wilmington home after a speech at Arlington National Cemetery for Veterans Day. In his speech, Biden honored fallen soldiers, acknowledging war and death as part of the American story. He defended the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, stating it was time to end the forever war.

Biden didn’t address the ongoing conflict in the Middle East during his speech, where Israel initiated a ground invasion of Hamas-controlled Gaza amid rocket attacks. The U.S. expressed support for Israel’s right to defend itself and opposed a UN Security Council statement for an immediate ceasefire.

Protesters outside Biden’s home argued that these measures weren’t sufficient, urging him to pressure Israel to halt the violence and lift the blockade on Gaza. Linda Sarsour, a notable activist and former Women’s March co-chair, spoke at the rally, claiming Biden had blood on his hands. She emphasized that the Palestinian cause was a human rights issue that concerned everyone.

This demonstration is one of many pro-Palestine protests worldwide as the death toll in Gaza, according to the Hamas-run health ministry, has surpassed 10,300. The ministry doesn’t distinguish between Palestinian civilians and Hamas terrorists targeted by Israeli airstrikes.

Israel asserts it has eliminated over 200 Hamas operatives, including senior commanders, destroyed tunnels, and rocket launchers. Israel claims it’s working to minimize civilian casualties and blames Hamas for using civilians as shields.
