Former server Alice Bianco, 23, has filed a lawsuit against the Trump National Golf Club, owned by former President Donald Trump. The lawsuit, reported by HuffPost on Saturday, details allegations of sexual harassment, assault, and an illegal nondisclosure agreement.
Bianco, hired in January 2021 at the age of 21, claims her supervisor, Pavel Melichar, the food and beverage manager, began pressuring her for sexual favors within a month of employment. The lawsuit outlines instances of inappropriate behavior, including making her wear short skirts, giving her a bottle of Cognac, and making unwarranted advances.
The lawsuit alleges that on March 12, 2021, Melichar raped Bianco in his office, threatening her with job termination if she spoke out. He purportedly showed her videos of Trump praising him to assert his power.
Additionally, the lawsuit claims that on March 18, 2021, Bianco was introduced to Trump’s personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, who allegedly coerced her into signing an illegal nondisclosure agreement (NDA). The lawsuit argues that Bianco signed the NDA under duress and without legal counsel.
Bianco, who resigned on March 31, 2021, citing severe anxiety and depression, filed the lawsuit on November 29, 2023, seeking compensatory and punitive damages. She also aims for a declaration that the NDA is invalid and void, along with a court order to stop unlawful and discriminatory practices at the club.
The Trump Organization, which owns the club, has not responded to the lawsuit. Giuliani’s spokesperson declined to comment, and Melichar could not be reached.
This lawsuit adds to a string of legal challenges faced by Trump and his businesses, involving investigations and lawsuits on tax fraud, campaign finance violations, sexual misconduct, and the January 6 insurrection at the U.S. Capitol.
