Inside Lenny Kravitz’s Star-Studded Birthday Bash with Daughter Zoë, Lisa Bonet, Salma Hayek, and More
Lenny Kravitz, the legendary rocker known for his enduring charm, celebrated his 60th birthday in Paris, coinciding with the release of his new album, “Blue Electric Light,” on Friday, May 24. The event, held at the prestigious Hôtel de Crillon, was a glamorous affair attended by numerous celebrities and loved ones.
Kravitz, whose birthday is on May 26, began the evening with a dinner followed by a lively after-party. DJ Ruckus provided the music, creating a festive atmosphere where guests danced the night away. A source close to Kravitz described the evening as “joyous,” with heartfelt speeches honoring his late mother, actress Roxie Roker.

The guest list was a who’s who of Hollywood and the fashion world, featuring his ex-wife Lisa Bonet and their daughter Zoë Kravitz, Naomi Campbell, Salma Hayek and her husband François-Henri Pinault, Pauletta Washington and her son John David, Chris Rock, Laurence Fishburne, Colman Domingo, and Marisa Tomei. An especially notable attendee was Kravitz’s fourth-grade teacher, Mrs. Goldberg, who traveled from New York to join the celebration.
In an interview with PEOPLE earlier this year, Kravitz reflected on his career during their Black History Month cover story. He expressed his amazement at still feeling “fresh and hungry” for new projects. His recent accolades include receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, where Zoë and longtime friend Denzel Washington delivered touching speeches.
Kravitz shared his gratitude at the ceremony, recalling his humble beginnings and the surreal experience of being honored among other iconic figures. “To have it now just feels so surreal, and I’m really grateful,” he told PEOPLE.
