In a recent announcement, Vice President and Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris has confirmed that she will not be joining Joe Rogan’s popular podcast, according to her campaign. While discussions had taken place between Harris’ team and Rogan’s producers regarding a potential appearance, scheduling conflicts ultimately prevented the interview, as campaign spokesperson Ian Sams shared in an MSNBC interview.
“We engaged in talks with Rogan’s team, but with the campaign schedule as it is, an appearance just wasn’t feasible at this time,” Sams explained.
The prospect of Harris joining Rogan’s podcast, known for its broad audience, particularly among younger men, generated considerable buzz. Earlier reports from Reuters had hinted at the possibility of the Vice President making an appearance, potentially reaching new demographics through Rogan’s highly followed platform. However, the demands of the campaign season have reportedly left little room for such media opportunities.
Despite this missed opportunity, Harris continues to engage with voters across the country, including recent rallies, as she navigates the final stretch of the campaign. Whether she may reconsider a podcast appearance in the future remains unconfirmed, but the Vice President’s campaign is focused on direct voter engagement leading up to the election.
