During the ERA Coalition Forward Women’s Equality Trailblazer Awards & the premiere of ‘Still Working 9 to 5’ on May 29, 2024, Griffin shared how she’s coping. “One day at a time,” she said. “One show at a time. I thank God for this tour. I’m just so grateful to be on tour, so it takes my mind off it.”

Griffin added humorously, “The great Joan Rivers used to say, ‘The more your life is in the s—–, the funnier you are.’ So I must be hilarious.”

Griffin and Bick, who began dating in 2011 and married in January 2020, have faced a turbulent separation. In December, Griffin cited “irreconcilable differences” in her divorce filing and requested the court enforce their prenuptial agreement from December 2019. She also sought to terminate spousal support for both parties.

In March, Griffin hired a private investigator to serve Bick with divorce papers after he had been unresponsive and his whereabouts unknown. Court documents indicated that Bick had not been in contact with Griffin or disclosed his location since leaving their home at her request.

Bick later requested spousal support and attorney’s fees in line with their prenuptial agreement. The separation has been challenging, but Griffin remains focused on her career and finds solace in her work.
