Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado – The Grand County Sheriff’s Office has launched an intensive investigation into the puzzling case of a man who vanished from the Pioneer Park campground on May 28. Ari Harms, a white male in his thirties, was last seen by witnesses as he embarked on an inflatable kayak adventure on the Colorado River.
The authorities were alerted to the disappearance on May 29 when a concerned individual reported that Harms’ vehicle, which should have departed from the campground, was still parked at its designated campsite. Upon further inquiry, the campground’s host revealed that fellow campers had observed Harms entering the Colorado River with his inflatable kayak on the previous day. However, no one has reported seeing or hearing from him since then.

In response to the report, the Grand County Sheriff’s Office and Grand County EMS promptly initiated a search operation in Byers Canyon and the surrounding areas. Despite their efforts, Harms could not be located.
